If you don’t qualify for financial aid, then the only other option you have is to apply for scholarships. Scholarships are free sources of money that cover your school expenses and you don’t have to pay them back. You can read about them here:

You do have to be in school to get the loan. This loan is to help you pay for school expenses. not your debt which was your own fault. The purpose of the loan is to help you better yourself, not bail you out of this situation. The first thing you need to do it get rid of your debt and start saving some money. If you do not, the student loan is just going to add even more debt to your plate and you may not be able to handle it.

If you pay $1000 a month on your loans and do not charge anything you should have it paid off in a year. This may be tough but it will be worth it in the long run. It may mean cutting out a lot of unnecessary expenses such as a cell phone and cable. Once this debt it paid off I would then look into a loan for school.

You do have to be in school before they give you the money for a student loan. The loan is actually sent directly to the school where it is used to pay for your tuition. If there is any money left over, then you will get that remainder. Since it sounds like you need to work full time to pay your current debts, maybe you should look into a community college. You could take as many classes there as you can for a much cheaper rate and they often offer night and weekend classes. If that doesn’t work, your best option is to get your monthly expenses down to a level that you can manage by just working a weekend job.
