Best website to sign up for scholarships??

First, apply for the FAFSA in either January or early February of your senior year of high school. The amount awarded is based on a percentage of your income and savings along with your parents’ income and savings. With you not working during the shcool year, this could work to your benefit since your income and savings count at a higher rate than your parents when it comes to college financial aid.
Second, your high school guidance office has a list of local scholarships and some state government scholarship programs. Some of the state programs out there are based on your school grades.
Third, the public library has a book listing scholarships with some of them not listed on the web.
Finally, join several free membership scholarship search websites. It will include a profile for you to complete, but it will help narrow your scholarship search to ones that you qualify for based on the information entered. There are scholarships for almost anything including wearing duct tape to the high school prom.
Good luck!
