I’m desperate. I have been trying to get back in school for the past like two years and I haven’t been able to

I pulled out a loan and I had to drop some classes. My loan company wouldn’t cover me anymore because I wasn’t a full time student. Now, I’m out of school and I need to get back in. I don’t know how and I don’t know what to do. Please help, I really want to get back in school. I really need some serious advice. Please help.

You don’t say why you pulled out of school in the first place, so it is harder to give you advice. However, the answer may be in your local community college. If you had too much on your plate before, community colleges usually have open admissions policies. In other words, if you are a high school graduate–which you must be–you can be admitted to a community college. That will give you some credits, will qualify you as a full time student (if you take enough courses) and will get you back on your feet academically.

Of course, community colleges are only 2-year programs, but the courses can be transferred to a 4-year college. In most states, the major state universities give you full credit for your community college courses. Just make sure you take “real” academic subjects, like you would in a 4-year college, and you will be fine.

The best part of all is that community colleges are much less expensive than other colleges, so that will help a lot financially.

You can do this! I hear the determination in you coming right through your question, so get going. You can probably still register for the fall semester. Good luck!!
