No one will really be able to give you an accurate number without you filling out the fafsa application, really. Even those EFC website calculators give you a number that ISN’T “how much financial aid” you will get. I’m attaching a Dept of Education publication. You will not likely qualify for grants or work study…. but look at the Unsubsidized Loan information… that is likely what you will qualify for.

Good Luck.

Unfortunately that should put your EFC above the grant range. It’s just too high of an income to get qualified. I had a friend who made around that much while working for the state and it disqualified her from grants. I make a higher income, and just for laughs applied through FAFSA recently, and my EFC came to 12251 (what a joke).

Now that doesn’t mean it’ll disqualify you from loans. Subsidized loans are still a great option and I would highly recommend them for your upcoming schooling if you don’t qualify for grants..

The best recourse is to always fill out the FAFSA online application and you’ll know the definitive answer. Hope this info helps and good luck.

It always depends, and it’s different for each individual. The best way to find out is to fill out the FAFSA, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, at fafsa.ed.gov. That’s most students’ main source of financial aid, since it comes from the government and is then reported to your school, and the school might give you aid as well.

Also be sure to sign up with Fastweb.com or another scholarship search site to look for additional scholarships.

Best of luck!

That is a very subjective question because the answer will be different for everybody. In addition to your income, it also looks at how many people are in your household and of those how many are going to college, what type of assets you may have, if you receive any government benefits, among other things. You can google “EFC Calculator” to get any number of sites that will give you a **rough** estimate of what your EFC may be.

Good luck!

yea, they’re precise. Your earnings is a lot above the skills for economic help. as quickly as you get enrolled and ordinary, practice for scholarships. Your college of selection could have a library of recommendations on those which are available so which you would be able to coach for. i relatively have been given greater advantageous than sufficient in scholarships to pay for my classes and books this semester. some from inner maximum scholarships and that i made the President’s Honor Roll which qualified me for that scholarship. Loans have a manner of putting over your head, so attempt to stay far off from them if in any respect a hazard. stable success with your study mavin
