i’m returning to college after a loooooong lapse. i’ll be starting October 1st in a fashion marketing program. financial aid will be paying the majority of my tuition (thank you federal grants and loans!) and the rest i can pay off in installments. the problem i have is that i have to come up with upwards of $2000 for books, supplies, and a specific laptop before i can even start classes. i’ve considered making and selling some of my purses to help, but the cost of supplies pretty much eats away the profits. i do have a part-time job, but i am also a single parent with a child to support. does anyone have any original fundraising ideas that might help me out?
