talk to the people in your classes, especially the older ones. older friends are great to have because they’ve probably already taken classes you’re now in and can help you. plus they can expand your social circle as well. make sure you get your work done on time cause if not, it will come back to haunt you when you’re applying for college. basically, keep your grades up and have a blast! you’ll make tons of new friends, lose some old ones that weren’t good friends anyway and have plenty to do!

Study hard =D. If you have the choice of getting all or mostly A’s in school and getting a job and dropping to B’s and C’s, go with the A’s. The scholarships you can get for good grades are huge, while the pay you could get for part-time during-the-school-year work barely compares.

If you can do both, great!…but that’s my $0.02…

Avoid classes like “underwater fire prevention” Take the math & science stuff that you hate. And don’t fall behind in the math classes by skipping a night or two of homework.

You be thankfull you did this later. I PROMISE

stay true to your self Do not change who you are or who you want to be for anyone at school. study hard but also remember to have fun. Say No to drugs!!

Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

Be very open and make as much friends as you possibly can! I didn’t socialize much my freshmen year and that is when you meet all your highschool friends, so I didn’t have a lot of friends.
