In the Superman stories, Kryptonite is a green rock from the planet Krypton (Superman’s home) that took away his powers and made him go weak. If u are somenoe’s Kryptonite, then u make that person go weak at the knees -weak in the presence of beauty-they fancy u loads. (I think,anyway) I suppose that it could also mean that u r what they fear most, but I think the first idea sounds better. Hope this helps. If u get to find the real answer, please post.

Sounds rather insulting to me, like being around you is poisonous to the other person, but I suppose the previous person’s answer offers a positive way to look at it.
Addition: By the way, red kryptonite has unpredictable effects on Superman, but green kryptonite makes him turn green and die.
