Whew – I hate the English language! It is so confusing – and I am from England. BUT tight means :

1. extremely uncomfortable

2. slang for ‘won’t spend money’.

3. drunk

4. squeezing too much stuff into a zippered suit case – and the zipper breaks – means the stuff was too TIGHT for the suitcase.

5. When a person buys a pair of shoes – she should buy size 8 but vanity tells her that she wants to wear a size 7 – then her

shoes would be too TIGHT for her feet.
