as the name states.. a series of adjectives are a set of words that describe a noun or pronoun.. such example:

the “quick brown” fox

the “big fat” man

the “thin tall” boy

I assume you are asking how a “series of adjectives” works, that is, what ORDER adjectives should be listed in.

There is some debate about details, but most are agreed on.

A good basic list goes something like this:

– Determiners (‘the, these, my…’)

– Quantity

– Quality (= opinion, observation… more subjective)

PHYSICAL FEATURES

– Size

– Shape

– Age

– Color

– Origin (may =Nationality)

– Material (made from)

– Type, purpose
