It means in a positive manner, “you are close to me or we are one”

In a negative manner, “You annoy the hell out of me or I despise you/loathe you”

God is the author and finisher of everyones faith and he alone is in control whether people want to believe that or not and the only reason we are so divided is there is no agreement on god or any thing else political, religious,or even everyday life in and out of our own homes,we as a nation are truly blessed and for the ones that do not think so try living in africa, turkey or china and find out how much freedom you have there which is none,so lets be grateful for for what we have in a nation for we could be a communist country and you would not have say over nothing, truly god bless america for we are truly blessed

The english language can be very confusing because there are so many figures of speech and slang, litterally hundreds of different ways of talking.

“Under my skin” is another fine example of a figure of speech, mainly because it would be impossible to litterally get under someone’s skin. Figures of speech, metaphores and allegories are abundant in English and many things have double meanings.

So, if it’s not possible, it’s just a figure of speech 🙂

It’s an expression, it’s kind of different depending on how you use it.

The be “in someone’s skin” is to mean to see/feel/think as that person would. If you were in my skin, you’d see things the way i would.

To get under someone’s skin is to be really intimate and close with someone.

or it can also mean that when you get under someone’s skin that you’re being really really irritating to them.

When something “gets under your skin” it annoys you or bothers you in a way that you can’t ignore.

But when you feel like you are “in someone elses skin” that means you understand what it’s like to be that person–you empathize with him.

“To feel someone under the skin” isn’t a common English phrase, but the songwriter probably means to be really close to a person, to be intimate with her, maybe in a sexual way.

To get “under my skin” means to annoy that person. If I was getting under someone’s skin I would be bothering them or annoying them in some way.

If you say ‘that person really gets under my skin’ it means they pretty much bug the crap out of you….or, annoy you.

Sometimes it means that someone annoys you a lot, but other times it can mean that you know someone so well that you finish each other’s sentences, etc.
