I couldn’t swallow pills for the longest, but then my grandmother made me take a pill with a can of soda. It almost forces you to. Also, I would start with a small pill.

First of all this is the wrong caegory for this, you should of put it in the health field. Maybe the reason you can’t swollow the pill is because it is too big for you to swollow. Another possible reason is because with some pills it is helpful to drink a whole glass of water to get the pill to go down into your digestive system. Be sure to drink a full glass of water to have the pill go down easier.

Some people just have trouble with this. It is probably a subconcious fear of getting something stuck in your throat. You just have to relax your throat and tell yourself its not going to choke you. It helps if you take a big mouthful of water, swirl it around so the pill lifts off your tongue and open your throat to take a big gulp. This will minimize the contact of the pill with your throat and make it less noticeable.

I had trouble with this when I was younger. Relax, tilt your head back and swallow it with a milkshake or something dense.

you might be thinking about it too much that your muscles in your throat wont relax enough to swallow normally. Your muscles probably tense up too much to swallow it.
