Well, myths say that when it’s 11:11 you are supposed to make a quick wish before it turns 11:12 or it is bad luck. Mostly it’s all myths and fun. No wishes come true unless you work at it ;]

It’s probably just a superstition. I’ve always wished on 11:11. It doesn’t exactly happen to come true when I wish, but I feel out of the loop if I don’t get to make my wish those two times of the day.

I guess it could be true if you randomly look at the clock and it’s 11:11 that someone’s thinking of you. To be honest I’ve never heard that one though.

i think a person is just as likely to look at the clock at 11:11 then any other time.. but because everyone says to make a wish or that its good luck it stands out more. Just like to me.. i happen to notice its 10:11 more then anything.. since thats my birthday oct 11… So it isnt that something special happens it more means that its different.. and you notice it because people do speak of it. It really means nothing!

I find it so bizarre you ask this question. Since my nan’s death last year, it seems like every time I look at a clock it is 11.11. Whether in my car, at home or out, whether it’s am or pm it’s 11.11! In fact I discussed this only a few weeks ago with my mum and friends. I also find it strange my lucky number is 11, I was born in the 11th month, and my nan died in the 11th month. It also happens to be remembrance at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month. I truely believe the number is lucky but I also believe it may be someone you lost trying to tell you, remember me, i’m with you.

I’m not all-knowing, but in all honestly I think it means that it is eleven minutes after 11 pm or 11 am, and that’s it. I’ll admit that on occasion, I’ve made a wish at 11:11, but I haven’t really noticed them coming true. I think it’s just a coincidence, that you looked at the clock when it’s eleven after eleven.

I seem to catch the clock at exactly 11:11 at least once a day (sometimes as many as twice/day). I have heard many explanations.

The wish is usually “I wish it were time for lunch”. An hour or so later, voila!

lol, i never saw it that way, i just always thought it told u the time and thats it, haha, but that definitely puts a nice twist to it!
