What does “coo de la” mean ?

Yes, I know it was said by Chris Williams on HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm”, but did is it something Williams just made up? What was its original meaning ? Does it mean anything in French? Spanish?

Could it be “coup d’état” (pronounced /ku de’ta/)? It is the sudden overthrow of a government, often through illegal means by a part of the state establishment — mostly replacing just the high-level figures. It’s word origin is French which means “stroke of state.”
