Vocab trouble?
There’s a word box of the 20 words, and the quiz is 20 sentences with a blank in each sentence where the word needs to go. I need to put the correct word in the blank where the sentence makes sense.
I’m not very good at these kinds of quizzes, I’m better at just writing down the deffinition. What’s the best way for me to study?

ex: Lauren went to the mall to get a _____purse, with enough room for dog in it.
choices: small, large, tiny, long
you would first have to know it is an adjective, and then you have to know what would work. those are easy choices cuz u know the definitions already, but its just an example. u know that the word has to be “large” because it needs enough room for the dog. so that is how u do it…u look at what the sentence is trying to say. and i promise u that there is going to be a context clue in all of the sentences on the quiz. let me know if u need more help
p.s. if you need to quickly write down the definitions, then do it. just remember that it takes out ur time…..but if u have alot of time, do it so that u get a better grade.
Using each word once, you’d either get 20 or 18. As for the purse question, the lady might need to get a “long” purse, not a large one, as she might be shopping for a miniature dachsund dog, and a long one would work fine.
And for the person asking for help on the vocabulary quizes, just do your best, and have someone give you little pop quizes at home to help give you an idea what the words mean. You can do it !
