What’s the diffrence bettween “than” and “than”?

When should they each be used in a sentence??

I don’t want to screw this up in ant of my essays when school starts.

Use of than: to make a comparison.

For example:

He is taller than she is.

The dog is bigger than the cat.

Use of then: to indicate a point in time, order in which things were or will be done. Examples:

.

First we’ll meet for lunch, then we’ll go shopping.

I took a nap then went jogging.

First she washed her face, then she brushed her teeth.

“Then” is used in reference to time. “Then, he did this..”

“Than” is used to compare two or more things. “He is taller than her.”
