I do this al the time as well. The only difference is that I do it on purpose! Sometimes my guy and me will come up with such a good one that we laugh and laugh and laugh! My nickname, for example, is Aggie (which comes from the spoonerism Aggie Bunderpants!) I am not sure why it stuck as my nickname because I certainly do not wear baggy under-pants!

It’s called Spoonerism. This is what Wikipedia says-

A spoonerism is a play on words in which corresponding consonants, vowels, or morphemes are switched (see metathesis). It is named after the Reverend William Archibald Spooner (1844–1930), Warden of New College, Oxford, who was notoriously prone to this tendency.

I’m sorry I don’t know but I think it may help to post this under the mental health and/or psychology sections.

It sounds to me like some sort of mental phenomena. Pretty interesting though – will follow your story…it’s pretty intelligent though that your sentences still manage to convey the meaning well enough, even though some words are reversed. Makes me say “hmmm”
