Someone keeps calling our house and when we answer, all we get is “beeps”!! We have caller id, and it’s from..
it says it’s from manitoba. the number is 1 204 638 8634.
It called like 20 times!! And is STILL calling. It calls every 5~10 minuites. And EVERY time we answer, no one’s on the other line – there’s just a beep every 3 seconds. Anyone know why? What this call is about?

It sounds like someone is trying to fax you something on your phone line.
I’ve done a search and found this. Perhaps you could phone (it’s toll free!) or email or maybe there is further contact information on the website.

You can try putting the phone number into the search window for Google to see if a real company or person pops up. This might help. I suspect that it is an automatic dialing fax machine that has the wrong number. I’ve had that happen before. If it doesn’t get another fax machine in response it usually calls back at least a couple of times.

Maybe someone is trying to fax something and they put in the wrong number. The beep is the fax machine checking if there is another fax machine on your end.

It’s probably a computer generated call to check if anyone answers. They relay the info to sales person who will call you at that same day and time to sell you something.

that means they’re trying to send u a fax. it used to happen to me and i just turned on my fax machine and just some stocks stuff came up.
