What is the form of writing called?
My English teacher said it to me a few years ago, I really can’t remember the name. He gave me an example, which went like.
The Canadian soccer team beat the Italian soccer team in a game, so Canada won over Italy. Saying “Canada won” instead of “the Canadian team won”, is called something but I can’t remember.
All I remember thinking is that I had no idea there was a term for that. Anybody know what I am talking about?
