“This ain’t no piano” means perfection isn’t necessary. It’s an expression used by carpenters when roughing out a structure.
Now, how it’s used in time management … perhaps meaning that time management is flexible, and one can direct attention to areas that need it most to make the most efficient use of time. As opposed to making a piano, where you would have to do things a certain way in a particular order to end up with a good piano.
