“Go out on a limb” is one. It means to take a wild, risky, somewhat dangerous guess or to take a chance. Ex. I’m going to go out on a limb and ask the boy I like out on a date.

“Find it in your heart” is another. It means to have compassion for someone. Ex. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.
