if you move in with your boyfriend should you have to get married or can you just stay together as a couple?
Favorite Answer
Beyond all that, if you build a life and home together, and something happens to one of you. The other has no claim to anything and can loose nearly everything if the “next of kin” lays claim to it. YOU could be left out in the cold. But, YOU would be the next of kin if you were married.
Don’t let society tell you you must get married. It is your life you live it how you see fit.
the diffrence between being married and living together?
a peice of paper. no other difference if you decide to break up and your not married you just leave if you are married you go to the courthouse spend some money and get another piece of paper and you are not together anymore.
the only thing you would benifit from is getting on one partners health insurance.
I myself don’t feel attracted to the idea of marriage. It seems unnecessary and awkward for me. I have lived with my BF for over five years without getting married. We love each other and we had a baby this spring. We don’t plan getting married, although our parents wouldn’t mind a wedding 🙂
