Haven’t younger people today heard of morse code, shorthand etc?
I am referring to the question about text messaging acronyms. People are not lazy if they use them nor does age have anything to do with it.

i totally agree, in fact, talk to any doctor or lawyer that had hand cramps while they were in college. Most of them come up with their own shorthand to make things faster…it has nothing to do with being lazy.

Its not lazy…just really annoying. Especially when they make fun of those people that do not know what the text messaging lingo means. Some people just prefer to still use the English language in its entirety.

When it’s used as shorthand, it’s one thing. When it’s used as their primary method of writing e-mails, messages, notes, etc, it’s another.
