Antecedent refers to the referent, the eElectrical Numerical Integrator and Computer.
ENIAC is an acronym that means the eElectrical Numerical Integrator and Computer, so isn’t it a moot point? ENIAC is probably being introduced in the document as an acronym to replace ” the eElectrical Numerical Integrator and Computer ” so the writer does not have to keep writing out the entire phrase.
