1.You are a bit mistaken here.In English,”The house is green.”In Spanish,”La casa es verde.” In English,”the green house” – In Spanish,”la casa verde.”In Spanish the noun preceeds the adjective. 2.Hola mi amigo.Amiga-female.Amigo-male. 3.Mi is a posessive.Mi libro – My book.Mio also a posessive.El libro es mio. – The book is mine.Me,literally,to me.Me gusta hablar espanol.I like speaking Spanish.Very literally,To me like speak Spanish.Yo is speaking of or about yourself.Yo soy… – I am… I am enjoying — Estoy gozando. -Or- Yo estoy gozando. near — cerca de. will be — This is a tricky one. There is,”sere””which is I will be-permanent state. Then there is,”estare'”,which is I will be-temporary state.Sere’comes from the root word, ser – to be in a permanent state such as in,”When I turn eighteen,I will be a legal adult.”You will no longer be considered a child.Adulthood is permanent. Estare’ comes from the root word, estar – to be in a temporary state such as,”I live in Texas, but I will be in California for two weeks.” High School — Secundaria(Secondary)In Mexico and most Spanish speaking countries there is no middle or junior high school. There is only a primaria(primary school)which is first through seventh grades(normally)and secundaria(secondary)which is normally eighth through twelfth grades. I understand — Entiendo. – Or – Yo entiendo. I only know the basics. — Solo se’ lo basico. – Or – Solo entiendo lo basico. — I only understand the basics. Not really — en realidad no(in reality no). Hope this helps.
