is this ambiguous?

i didn’t see him a week after i left there.

Does it mean i left there and then i didnt see him for a week? or i left there and a week later i didnt see him?

Yeah this is pretty Ambiguous (obviously meaning could have more than one meaning)

Grammatically speaking it doesn’t make sense either. In my own personal opinion i would read it as i didn’t see for a week since you left.

Either, I suppose. The sentence is rather awkwardly worded. It would be more common to say: “I haven’t seen him since I left there a week ago.”.
