More blacks than whites say “ing” as “in”. Do black teachers still let students say runnin” instead of running

and thinkin’ instead of thinking, etc. when they know you can’t get a good job with lazy aborted English?

I always thought this was more of a regional thing rather than racial. When I lived in Texas it was common to hear this from people of all races. Now I am in California and it is still common from kids. I don’t have a lot of black friends, but the few I have are able to enunciate.
