Help name our rat!!?
We just lost our rat chi recently and have brought home a baby female rat to carry on her legacy. I want to name this rat after her, something to honor her and remember her by. Since the first rats name was chi I am thinking maybe zen or something like that but zen isnt a very pretty name. Anyone else have any ideas of a short word with a nice ring and a similar meaning to what the word chi embodies?? Thanks so much:) by the way she is mostly white with a black head and a few black splotches on her.

Pali is a good name for it. (Pay – lee) so it is sounded. It is related to or is looked at as different aspect to meditation. It’s a derivation of the Sanskirt term dhyana or Pali: jhana! It is most commonly known throughout the world as Zen and it is really cute!

Rats are indeed, wonderful pets. I love the little darlings. We have one, his name is “Jherry.”
Have you thought about Che? It’s similar but not exact. People who never owned one, cannot begin to imagine how clean they are or how really smart they are. Ours likes to swim in his little pool on hot days. The girls insisted that he needed a pair of swimming trunks. So, yes, he has clothes. He really quite spoiled.
