A coo coo ca-choo?

All right, I think I know what it means, but I am not sure who used it first, John Lennon or Simon & Garfunkel. Who used it first and is it just some silly phrase?

The Beatles song does not say that, it says goo goo g’joob. So Simon and Garfunkel were first. Both songs came out in 1967.

Per urban dictionary… A term used often in the hippie era of the ’60s, implying that everything is fine, or that there is no need to worry about anything.
