Because it is about people’s perceptions. Oh you went to college you must be smart. I passed the CPA for people’s perception because without it people would not think I was a qualified accountant. College is so expensive nowadays and more like a business than worrying about educating youth. The sad part 99% of these colleges give you the same education; so I feel bad when I read about a lot of kids taking on huge debt to go away when they can just go to their local college and get the same education at a cheaper price.

To make a better life for your self in the long run. People aren’t just born to stay in school forever the purpose of college is to prepare you for the future.

well if your not enjoying it then your probably not doing so great then you need to stop wasting your money, or your grant and go to a school and do something you would enjoy then you would do good at it too! Good Luck

Then don’t go. You can get along fine without a college education. You have other options.

So you can make something of yourself?
Why don’t you like it? The students, classes, teachers, dorm life? If you are pursuing a career that you don’t want then I expect college could really suck.
