Depends on the school and/or program you want to apply for. If you already know which colleges you want to apply to, go to the universities’ admissions websites. There, you’ll find out about their individual admissions processes and their deadlines. Download a paper version of their application if possible. This way you can understand what each institution is looking for in the application. Also, if the application has an essay, you can start planning and practicing writing the essay.

In addition, if the application requires recommendations, decide which teachers or administrators you would like ask and, if necessary, start buttering them up now (LOL).

One other thing I’d like to add is that you should really think about the colleges you’re applying to. Would you really want to attend these schools? To decide, take campus tours and go to any info sessions these schools may offer in your area. Do this as many times as it takes for you to decide which schools are your choice schools and which ones are your second choice schools. It’s important to do this because application fees these days can run $50+.

Somewhat contrary to the previous statement, apply to more than one college, like two choice schools and two or three second choice schools. I made the mistake of applying to one and only one school because I thought it would be my favorite. Well, even after two campus tours, I failed to see how cliquish the campus was and how much construction was going on. I hated waking up every morning at 7 AM to the sound of jackhammers working on a new building literally 100 feet from my room.

As for timing of the applications, if you’re going to apply early admission, that deadline usually falls between October 1 and December 1. Regular admissions deadlines can fall anywhere between January 15 and April 1 (some less popular schools may even be June). You should ask your teachers about recommendations at least a month before the application is due. Transcripts and test scores: request to be sent about 2-3 weeks before the application is due.

One last thing, I swear, if you haven’t taken the SAT or ACT, take it ASAP, but no later than a 3-4 weeks before the deadlines.

I’m also a senior and I’m starting to fill them out now. It’s actually a very long process getting your recommendations, filling out the application, and writing the essays. So, I would say start now. Check the colleges websites and look for their applications. Some colleges might not have them out yet, but they all should be out soon. You can print them out if you don’t want to pay the fee online or just simply do it online. You should also talk to your school counselor since they play a big part as well. You can ask them about the application process and they should be happy to help if you’re having problems.

Google the universities you’re interested in and find their websites. Then click on “admissions” and you’ll find the application deadlines for each. You still have plenty of time, but don’t wait till the last minute to start applying. The process can take awhile (essays, recommendations, etc.).

initiate finding for pupil hips commencing up your freshman 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. some companies will carry the $ till you graduate because of the fact they could make $ off the interest. excursion campuses as quickly as you could and take the exams whilst they’re scheduled. be conscious for faculties as quickly as you get those rankings back and that they are what you choose the faculties/universities to work out. If no longer, take the exams back (in case you could) to get a extra perfect grade. that is why commencing early is definitely significant.
