Before you rush or do anything, make sure it is right for you. Talk to some of the other guys in you class and find out if any of them are in a frat. See how it has helped or worsen them. Each frat has some many different types of guys in them, you are going to find at least one you connect with. The whole idea of a frat is the brotherhood, so be sure you get along with most of them. Many people think frats are one of the worst things you could chose to join. It all depends on how you go about it. In many ways you could get all wrapped up in the party scene, if you like to party, then you are screwed. But if you pay attention to you school, a lot of the students involved on campus and the community are greeks. It will help you build skills that will help you in life.

When I first started college, joining a sorority was not something I was interested in, but now I would change a thing. I have met so many people and really have enjoyed college. I have also helped raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness. I think I made the best pick. I am all Zeta Tau Alpha!!!!

I think you should find out a little bit about every frat, before making you final choice. Its something that will stick with you. Plus be sure how much the dues are and that you can pay them. Not everyone knows they cost $$$$!!!! Oh, my favorites are Phi Delta Thetas.

I joined a frat my first semester and it was a very dumb mistake. I almost failed out my first semster and I didnt even like the guys i met.

Why would you say..”I know I want to join a Frat?”

you dont know untill you rush.

The only real way to find out if Greek Life is for you is to rush. Go through formal recruitment and see if there’s a fraternity that’s right for you. Good luck!

I wouldn’t join freshman year, there are too many things to worry about your first year of college… besides, they will still invite you to parties as long as you are not obligated to any one frat.

sorority chicks are all stuck up anyway.

So young, and already considering buying friends? Stay out, and find your own.
