Which degree would get me further?

Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice

Associates/Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal

Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Science

What jobs and salary can you get with these degrees?

Anyone work in a field with one of these degrees?

Any information, would be helpful (serious answers only)

It depends on what field you want to go into. If you’re thinking of going into law school, I recommend interning or clerking at a law firm prior to applying, as your degree doesn’t really matter as long as you do well on the LSAT. The Criminal Justice and Forensic Science degrees would help in a law enforcement career for sure, but an associate degree, in my opinion, is virtually worthless.

Many people begin to study in the areas that you mention only to be rudely surprised. The degree is often far from what they expected.

A degree in Criminal Justice is often used for people interested in working in law enforcement or in a prison.

A paralegal is simply an assistant to an attorney. The work is hard and usually doesn’t pay that well.

A degree is forensic science is perhaps the most misunderstood of the three. With only a bachelor’s degree, you will be severely limited in what you can do. The stuff you see on CSI (crime scene investigators) and the work of medical examiners is reserved for individuals who pursued graduate study.
