What the minimum math & science requirement to be a RN?
Is just regular Algebra and Life Science okay? I know having higher lvl math and science is better, but what if you don’t have anymore time to take it in high school? Do you just take it in college?

If you are still in high school the amount of math you take affects 2 things:
1. How well you will be able to perform on the SATs
2. The prerequisites needed for entry into the nursing program.
If #1 will not be a problem, the only thing to worry about is point #2. And yes, generally you can make it up by taking remedial math (if needed) in college.

Start applying to colleges that have a nursing program. The programs tend to be hard to get into, and expensive. Make sure you stop by the financial aid office to see if you qualify for help. If you want to prepare academically, take biology, anatomy, etc, at your local community college so you will be oriented when you get in to a full program. There are other lesser licenses you can get in medical fields such as phlebotomy that you may want to pursue as an interim step.

You can do your pre-requisites in college or at a jr college. Do you want to do a 2yr program or a 4yr program?
