recommendation letters??

Do your high school teachers’ recommendation letters really help that much? My teachers all like me and I’m pretty sure their letters will turn out good and convincing (I’m a straight A’s student, don’t mean to brag… just want to give you some information).

Trust me, they make the difference. I think it is important to pick teachers that can talk about you, not your grades. Colleges will receive your transcripts, but they will not receive you, which is where recommendation letters can come in handy. They explain your personality and reasons for doing things that a transcript could never tell you. Take careful consideration about who you pick!

Recommedation letters are perfect for univeristy. I believe every university i the USA require lettes from the student’s teachers. I know if i decide to go to university I will be a transfer student and I don’t think that I ned recomedation lettes from my instructors. But I can try and ask around.

Always get recommendation letters from all your high school teachers because it will turn out to be the best thing you have when you fill out your admissions paperwork. I am not a striaght A student. I am B or C average.

Yes, I think so. One of my teacher’s went to a college that I really, really want to go to. I asked her for a recommendation letter because I really trust her opinion. I know she will be honest in her letter, and I am on really good terms with her. When a teacher writes a really good recommendation letter, it is not just ‘——- has really good grades, you should accept her….’, it is more like an opinion of your character through their veiwpoint. It really helps to be able to trust your tachers for that kind of support.
