I am getting my masters in theology to become a pastor, but I need help paying for it. Any suggestions?

I’ve tried most scholarship websites, but they really don’t offer anything in my field of study.

I am sure you have a home church that would be happy to help you.

Ours is a small church and many missionaries have been able to get scholarships and loans for trips and furloughs.

Your home congregation should be willing to help you out, especially if you plan to be a Pastor in one of their Churches.

You can also try national associations or organizations affiliated with your Church.

Also, the military does pay well for Chaplains. You are not required to maintain a weapon, but you must provide a place of worship for all religions…even those you may find undesirable.

Other than that you can try to get help through the FAFSA. I am not sure if they help out on Grad work, but it’s worth a shot.

If you belong to a certain denomination they have scholarships for people going into the ministry. Talk to your pastor, if you are, he/she will most likely know. Best of luck to you!

Try the American or British universities and colleges. They do offer scholarships.
