What should I do to keep busy?
I’m a college student whose summer classes have ended. When I finally get a break from school I don’t feel like reading or watching television. I don’t have many friends and really the only hobbies I have are reading and sewing – two things I DONT want to do in the next two weeks. I like kids but since Vegas is a big enough city they don’t let you volunteer anywhere without certification/health cards – which I don’t have and wouldn’t be able to get within 2 weeks. So now I have no idea what to do. I have two weeks before fall classes start. Any ideas?

Maybe, take on a physical fitness goal. Train your body to do something you currently can’t. You may have fun and you will probably feel even better than now if you have access to more energy, or feel stronger or more flexible or im better physical control. It could be a great change from reading and studying, yet still feeling productive.
Another similar idea may be do-it-yourself projects like painting or building around your house/property. If you want to volunteer- maybe, you could volunteer to paint a local place of worship, public library, under-funded child-care center or some other worthy place.

you can try to get some exercise, or try some new recipes. You can also buy some discount books or clothes for your incoming semester. Good luck and have fun.
