Actually, like all the other pharm schools, Univ of Florida does NOT only look at your math and science GPA.

They have their list of required core courses. Florida calls them General Education requirements. Humanities courses are on the list.

All schools look at GPA and PCAT scores!

Not only this, they’ll look at your experiences to see exactly why you are interested in pharmacy school. If you don’t have any experiences in pharmacy please do not apply, because you won’t get in (unless of course you father is the dean of admissions). However, you have to look it this way, the only way that you can make a good argument that you want to become a pharmacist, you must need experience. Any kind actually. You can be a clerk or technician. You can possibly volunteer at a local independent pharmacy if the owner agrees.

The ones that I have looked at on the West Coast look at two GPA’s…your cumulative GPA, and prerequisite GPA. I have not found any that just look at your science and math…because Pharm school is so much more than just science and math

Pharmacy faculties are maximum worried consisting of your grades of their required classes. This contains better than basically math and technological understanding instructions. in spite of the shown fact that, they look in any respect your grades.
