Wow, that’s a complete change of direction! I think it will be pretty hard to change from Bio-med. to industrial engineering. But don’t take my word for it, try asking a few US uni’s. They should be keen to answer your questions, if it might mean another full-fee-paying foreign student signs up for their master’s programme.

No you don’t need an undergraduate degree in industrial engineering. Although for those without an engineering background, some prerequisite courses will most probably be needed. Since you already have an engineering degree, even if it’s from a foreign institution, you probably don’t have to worry about that. Your best bet however is to google the universities you’re interested in to find their websites. Once there, you can find their graduate admissions requirements for both the university and the industrial engineering department. Start by searching for the industrial engineering department and go from there. Good luck.
