It’s a work hard, party hard situation. College students actually want to be in the classes because they’re working towards a degree in a field that they enjoy and will eventually bring them a higher paycheck. So it is more serious. But, the parties are so much better because there are fraternities and sororities and there’s always an endless supply of alcohol since people are of age to buy it now. Plus, your parents can’t catch you ruining their house.

It’s a lot more work than high school. You can have fun too, but you have to manage your time. I know a lot of my friends loved high school but can’t stand college because in high school more decisions were made for them. They didn’t have a choice when it came to classes and figuring out which ones you had to take when to graduate on time. I didn’t like high school but college has been pretty fun. I’m serious about work but know when to take a break.

Much more work than high school – studying every night (depending on your major) is definitely a possibility. Yet you have much more freedom as an individual. It’s fun because it is different, but more serious at times because your grades matter and classes are harder, professors expect more from you. You just have to know how to balance your life, a little fun for a lot of work. Find something you love to do and go do it. Welcome to the real world.

None. I stay in Scotland, and here we’ve optimum college (7 years, age 4-12) and Secondary college (4 years, 6 in the form you preserve on- age 11-18) and that i’m in Secondary employer. i’m in 0.33 year, and if I lived in america of a i could be in Freshman 3 hundred and sixty 5 days of extreme college. The a collectively as in brackets could seem complicated, yet what I advise is thay you start up playstation at 4 or 5 and leave at 11 or 12, and you start up HS (we call secondary “extreme college”) at 11 or 12, and pass away (for people who stay until eventually 6th 3 hundred and sixty 5 days) at 17 or 18. BQ- stable adequate, i think. it is the hoildays now. too plenty finding out the final week of term! BQ- No. decrease than no circumstances have carried out, on no account will do.

It’s both. The fun you have is more fun and if you are not serious about your studies, at least on some level, you will either waste your money and flunk out or not learn much and be a waste on the job hunt.

I had a total blast but only my wife and I graduated out of all 14 of our friends. We partied as much as our friends did, but we also got our work done.

its fun but in different ways…you have different clubs, the greek life, sports, classes and then there’s living in the dorms that makes things interesting as well…….its not like high school (but you still will see some similarities too) because you are more independent and living away from home (well, in some cases)

but since the students are paying for their education, they will be taking things more seriously (unlike high school where you HAVE to go)

College students have more control of what they do (the responsibility is higher)

More serious AND more fun. A lot more responsibility and freedom too. It’s way better than high school.

Well it is only serious if you make it serious. I suggest you make it serious, because college isn’t cheap. People won’t boss you around, you are responsible. It is much better than high school on so many levels. Hope you enjoy it. gl

More serious because most of us have had to work hard to get here, especially the scholarship students. At a good school, though many will party harder than ever, we also study harder than ever so that later in life, a wider range of options will be available to us.
