They are exams in specific subject areas. You can get college credit if you score well on them.
They’d only be worth taking if the college that you are attending accepts CLEP exam scores for credit. Also, you would need some knowledge of the content tested to do well on a CLEP exam in order to get credit.

they are exams you can take when you first enter college in order to receive college credits for some courses. basically if you score high enough you don’t have to take certain courses but you get credit for them and can move up to the next class.
they are totally worth taking– i mean you can get credit for classes without even taking them
