Along with having children and getting married, going to the University seperated me from childhood and immaturity. As children we were all taught that we could do anything we wanted and could be anything we wanted to be – which really provides little in the way of a structure you can hang a life on. But at college, I discovered my own limits, and made choices to discard possibilities that I was not interested in for the future. To some that might seem like diminishing myself, but to me it meant the end of not doing anything and the beginning of progress ; the discovery of my true creativity. I stopped just having “interests” and “talents” and “potential”, and started having accomplishments, abilities and a career. I stopped being praised for what it was possible for me to do some hazy day in the future, and started getting kudos for what I actually did.

oh many many things. but yet i cant decide if they r rather good or bad. im working hard to get the best marks in all subjects and im working hard to educate myself in different areas too which r not taught in highschool. my dream is to start my higher studies-in two years. but there is a little problem. from next year the tuition fee will be enrolled in the higher education in hungary. for one BA semester u will have to pay minimum 105 000 forints. well my dad makes around 200 000 forints a month. and that is a very good wage! how i n the hell am i going to pay for my higher studies???? it juss drives me crazy. i dont know what im gonna do if becouse of lack of money i cant go to a university and all i was working for in highschool goes to waste. what am i going to do at 18 with a single school leaving exam? university is a matter of life and death for me. well thats quite much i think.

It made me realise that University was not for me:) I disliked the closed and rigid structure of exams and assignments…with lecturers stating that any answer/view was right, as long as it was their answer/view!

It has also made me realise that I do not need a degree to do what I love. And, has taught me confidence in new and seemingly scary situations.

And lastly, I made a few great friends.
