The term we use in Canada is “permanent resident” rather than “landed immigrant”. This site may help you. Best of luck.

It’s a certain type of immigration status. You’d need to have legally arrived in Canada, in advance of applying and becoming a student, with the intention of living there. This may require appropriate visas. It’s the same thing as a “permanent resident”.

All of the other answerers’ replies are correct. What you have to ask is, what is their graduation rate? Is it like roach motel? They check in, but they don’t check out. Also, what is the acceptance rate at Texas A&M and the transferability of college credit from Blinn to Texas A&M?
