School supplies checklist for college?

I already have my own home, so no dorm stuff!

Just like what would you reccommend for….

notetaking-notebook or binder w/ paper?

good pens and/or pencils?

folders?

what else?

How many of each for 3 classes?

Get a binder with dividers. Buy enough looseleaf to fill your binder and extra for refills. Buy white computer paper for printing assignments and essays. Stock up on computer ink, you will need lots of it (especially if your professors make you print out your work off the internet). Buy good-quality pens and #2 pencils. Buy white out, highlighters (in different colors), and post-its. Make sure to buy a planner and write in important assignment due dates and exam dates. Buy some folders to hold work you get back from your professors. Buy a strong large envelope to hold important school documents, such as your semester bills. Buy a stapler (professors dislike unstapled assignments!). And don’t forget a sturdy large school bag for holding your books.

I don’t live in a dorm either (thank god) but make plans as if you were going to High school, get all the notebooks, folders, binders necessary, get enough pens and pencils, stapler, white-out, etc. get Post-it notes, bookmarks (because you may have to read a few books at the same time.

Do you have a computer of a laptop? and do you have a printer with that? it’ll be a good idea. I never had to go to a library because i have a laptop and printer, and Internet, so i never had to do research at a library on the computer, and also, you wouldn’t have to wait for someone to get off the computer so you can type your essay, and then pay to print it.

In addition to what is above… I can’t stand binders. I personally prefer spirals. You don’t have a lot of space on most college desks. I never have enough room to keep a binder out on the desk. I have a spiral for each class and a folder for each class.
