Your ACT score is really low. Is there a chance you can retake the test–perhaps taking a prep class this time? The average ACT score this year nationwide was a 21+.

It would be helpful if you gave more information about yourself–state you live in, what you’re looking for in a college, and what type of education you’ve had (good high school/bad high school). If you’re from an underprivileged area where few people go to college, that will be a factor in your favor.

If you don’t want to post more information, visit http://www.princetonreview.com or a similar site and take their survey. They’ll give you a list of schools you’re eligible for based on your stats and interests.

Good luck.

There are many many colleges. Some are four year schools and others are two year schools.

You have a good GPA and should be able to get into many different colleges.

Your high school guidance counselor or school college adviser should be able to help you. He knows you as well as the schools in your area. Ask him for advice.

The real question is not what colleges can you get into it is what colleges and you get into that has a program suitable for you.

Speak to your school adviser and ask him to suggest schools for you. Then visit some of them and see how you like the schools.

In any case good luck.

Just to let you know… Your GPA really outweighs your ACT, which is very low for your GPA (It depends on how tough your classes were – Standard/CP/AP).

Any state 4 year school will accept you, however, the academic program you choose may either deny you or make you other college classes.

Online schools will accept you, and some Private schools with open door policies.
