I have a friend that goes to the local campus here. She likes the programs and the accelerated courses. A negative is that a large portion of your assignments are based on team projects. She often complains that the team members don’t work as much as they should causing a little stress. Overall it seems to be a good program if you work full time and need to work toward your degree around an already demanding schedule.

I’ve heard to stay away from those ‘online schools’ that are for-profit ‘diploma mills’ such as university of phoenix, strayer u, kaplan u, devry u, and kaiser u as most employers don’t find them to be reputable. I would stick with a state college or university and take online courses at such an institution. Wishing you the best of luck in your studies!
