Miscellaneous Expenses
The miscellaneous part of the cost of attendance is for personal expenses. Actual expenses will vary.
Your individual budget for the year will vary according to:
Number of credit hours
Residency
Room and board choices
Degree plan
Personal expenses
Individual housing choices – i.e. not having a roommate, living in an expensive apartment, etc.
Credit card debt

Fill out FAFSA to see if you qualify for financial aid. Look into scholarships and grants to help with tuition. Student loans are another great way to help with tuition. The interest rate is low and you don’t have to make payments until you graduate. As far as housing, it depends on the college, but there should be a housing application. Get that in as soon as possible because on campus housing goes fast.

If you mean costs, you’ll need money for tuition, books, and housing if you live on campus. Some colleges maybe more costly depending on their prestige, for example ivy league schools are more expensive than state schools. Also, there are extra charges for out of state tuition if the school isn’t local to you. Colleges can cost anywhere from $10,000 to $85,000 a year.
