What are some different types of lawyers?
I am considering law school. I do not want to try cases in a court room. What else can lawyers do?

You can work in business law (accounting firms & licensed businesses), construction law (architectural firms & contractors), education law (counsel for a university), and medical law (patient advisor & malpractice representative), just to name a few. Lawyers are definitely not limited to the courtroom. In fact, many work in an office all day with limited exposure to courtrooms. It goes without saying that the ultimate end to any legal issue could be a visit to the courtroom, but in the professions listed above, your main service site will be at that particular business, firm, hospital, or university. Good luck!

be a paralegal instead.
Attorneys/lawyers are specifically trained for doing cases in a courtroom.
