What alternative can I have before going to graduate school?
I want to become a school counselor and a Master’s degreeis required. I will be graduating from college next May, but im afraid that my GPA isnt as high as I planned or like. Is there any other programs or schools that I can enter before going to graduate school so that I can get my grades up and prove to the school that I have more to offer. A professor that I talked to one time went from college to another school and then went to graduate school, but I have no idea what kind of program he enrolled in and I have no way of contacting him. Please help

You can go get a teaching certification first, which will at least allow you to start working in schools and show grad schools that you are committed to a career in education. If you can show excellent work experience for a few years, it might make up for a low college GPA.

I don’t know of a specal school to raise your GPA, but you can take courses over again at most colleges. So if you did decent in most classes and really bad in just a few, pay to take those few classes again and your GPA will drastically improve.
