No fafsa will not tell you how much money you will get it. It all depends on the school, if you accept loans they offer you and if the school has offered you any grants. As for the taxes, the only time I had to give them tax stuff was reapply for the following year. Even if you dont file for taxes, there still is a form that you have to get from the IRS. I went through- not knowing at the time and my award was taken away, then given back when I gave them the IRS form and the award was smaller. The longer wait to apply, the less money you will get. Jan 1 of each starts the new application process for the next school year. Good luck =0)

no filling out fafsa will just determine if you can get it. but whatever school you go to will determine how much. but fafsa does keep track of how much you get. you can always add the tax info later.
