I did a bit more research and apparently “The Blue Book” is also a book about grammar and punctuation. (See other two references.)

I don’t think that it’s anything that you have to worry too much about, you could always ask your professor to specify what he/she means when she mentions a blue book. I hope that helped! 🙂
